Our intent is to provide a straightforward and affordable solution to getting you online so we specialize in simple coding and clean designs to make your site appealing and functional. For a simple website with few basic pages and custom graphics we typically quote a price of about $100-$200 total (depending on design complexity). The price starts to go up with advanced photo albums, flash interface, and database work.
If this is your first website, we will need to get you a domain name and a Web Hosting Provider.
A Domain Name is the address (or link) that takes people to your site. You select the name you want (for example www._________.com) and then purchase the domain name.
A Web Hosting Provider is the server that you choose to host your site. This (along with your domain name) is the primary recurring costs associated with owning a website. You can purchase the domain name and hosting package from any online hosting/web provider service you choose.

Pittman Design does not have any recurring costs associated with creating the web files. We make your site, and once you are happy with it we accept payment and the files belong to you. The Web Host Service (along with your domain name) is the primary recurring costs associated with owning a website. Your recurring cost is based on the hosting package and provider you choose (rough average is $6 per month). We will guide you through that process depending on your requirements.
We offer up to 3 months of free technical and design support after we upload your site online. We are there to make sure all technical issues are resolved and your site is functioning properly. During that time, we can also make any changes or updates to pictures, colors, or content as requested (the structure of your site will remain the same). After the 3 months, we offer a separate monthly support package if you need continuous updates and/or maintenance throughout the year.
You don’t pay a single penny until you are satisfied with the final design. That’s right – we basically start working on your website for free. We continue to draft your site to your liking until we have it the way you want. All draft files and content will be stored on a secure protected web space so you can see and test what it will look like and how it functions. After the final design is complete and you approve of the website, we then accept payment and transfer all files to you and upload your site.
If we just cannot get the site the way you love it (no matter how hard we try), then you owe absolutely nothing and no hard feelings. Pittman Design will retain all custom created content and design work and no files will be transferred nor uploaded online. Pittman Design will retain Copyrights of any draft designs. (You will, of course, get to keep any of your personal/business submitted content such as photos, etc.).
The content and material created by Pittman Design in the Final Design of your site goes directly to you upon finishing approval and payment for the final version. It is your site, so we feel that you should be able to own and use everything on your site at your discretion. Pittman Design does retain the option to display your site in our Project Portfolio for the sole purpose of design credit and showcasing our diverse experience as web designers.
